- 2000 Australian Scenery Gallery | 2000 Australian Wildlife Gallery
- I spent the first half of August, 2000 vacationing in Australia.
What was planned as primarily a scuba diving trip turned into one long,
terrific adventure in the land of Oz. Included here is a small portion of the
photos I took in Melbourne, Cairns, Brisbane, and at the incredible Heron
Island.
- 2001 Australian Picture Gallery | 2001 Fijian Picture Gallery
- I returned to Australia in August of 2001, this time to visit the
state of South Australia, where I spent a week in Adelaide and at Kangaroo
Island. I then headed over to the nearby Fiji islands to scuba dive for a
week. Here you will find pictures from my stay in Adelaide, as
well as some underwater photgraphy from Kadavu, Fiji.
- 2002 Cayman Islands Picture Gallery
- No Australia this summer. Instead, I went on a ten-day scuba diving trip to the Cayman
Islands in the Caribbean. Very similar to my Fiji visit, though half way around the world.
Lots of sun. Rain storms that lasted ten minutes. Crytal clear water. Terrific diving.
- 2004 Cozumel Picture Gallery | 2004 Chichen Itza Picture Gallery
- Well, the summer of 2003 came and went without a scuba diving vacation. To make up for
that, I flew to Cozumel, Mexico in January of 2004. The island was very similar to Grand
Cayman in many ways, yet different in many others. Check out the highlights of the most
diverse set of underwater pics I've taken yet. Then take a look at the pics from my side trip
to the mainland to explore an ancient Mayan city.
- 2005 Mayan Riviera Picture Gallery
- Situated directly across the water from Cozumel, the Mayan Riviera is a terrific coastal area in eastern Mexico.
While there I snorkeled in caves, ocean inlets, and underground river systems. I was also fortunate enough to swim and
interact with a pair of dolphins at Peurta Adventuras. Fantastic all around.
- 2005 Skydiving Picture Gallery
- I bit the bullet in September of 2005 and decided to learn to skydive. After three hours of training and a good
night's sleep, I stood in the open doorway of a plane at 11,000 feet. Seconds later I was traveling at 120 mph...
downward.
- 2006 Moorea Gallery
- I visited this island in French Polynesia on a scuba-diving trip in April of 2006. The scenery, as you'll see, was fantastic... as was my overwater bungalow that allowed for snorkeling, in crystal clear water, right off the deck. There also seems to be an abundance of lemon sharks there.
- 2007 Athens Gallery
- My first visit to Europe took place in April of 2007, landing me on the southwestern corner of Greece. It's quite amazing to see how well the ancient architecture of Athens has stood up for well over two thousand years.

- My High School Salutatorian Speech
- Ah, now this, this is definitely a lame attempt to brag about my
meaningless high school academic success... but you can politely file it under 'nostalgia' and
leave it at that. Ten bonus points goes to anyone who knows who the
'famous man' in the speech really is.
- My Five-Minute Autobiography
- I wrote this for Educ422, Reading And Writing Across The Curriculum,
during Fall97. It's all about me... which is generally what
autobiographies tend to be about...

- The Truth Paradoxes
- What else can be said about this other than that it is an overblown attempt to explain logically what is patently
obvious to anyone with common sense? Luckily I had a lot of free time when I wrote it.
- About This Website
- Aside from having an incredibly narcissistic title, just what is
Maxlow.net all about? Have you seen it before, floating through your memory
like some distant image of a thought gone by? Umm... probably not.
